saturday was the girls day out! =D
derrick went to Ben Lomond for ski trip!
he said it was good. and he wanna go again.
so it must be darn good.
I wanna go tooooooo!!

yea so.
we woke up earlier..
picked esther, then off we went to the city.
esther survived our driving =D.
den went grocery shopping for steamboat..

ok cooking starts!
we wanted to make dumplings/glutinous rice ball.

i was mixing the deathly dough.
i shall tell the story later on.

esther gonna wrap dumplings. i mixed the meat.

wheee~ done.
dumplings and dumplings.
left over meat.. i made it into meatball aka Bakwan!
ivo made a thai-ish dip.. but din take a pic of it!

i eat until lyk 4 mnths preggers.

ok. now.
when i was mixing the dough. it felt kinda weird. too watery..
no more glut.rice flour, i added plain flour to absorb the moist a bit.
damn. it felt weirder.
so.. ok we boiled it..
it took so long to float..
cut 1 open.. sooooo hard.
cannot make it..
next batch, we put it in a bowl, pour water in and put in the microwave.
better, but still hard on the inside..
it was soo hard tt it could bounce.
and when we strain it frm the water,
it made a huge 'thud' sound when it hit the strainer...
rockhard.

after steamboat, ivo ahvent give up..
so, we tried shallowfrying it.. thinking positively, thot tt it'll b lyk sesameball in dimsums.
cannnot make it.
den we try to steam it.. lyk the above top pic..
cannot also too hot then the thing melt.
den we try naan style..
stuck it on the bowl and den steam it..
wakakakkaaaa
u guessed it.
CANNOT MAKE IT LARH.
still.... happy girls =D

today after sch, we(of course me n ivo) had cravings for icecream/dessert. since last nite actually.
came hm, wanna do pancake..
i boil water, put it into the pancake shaker..
blardy.
it clumps together.
i think water was toooo hot. so it instantly cook the thing?
anws.

looks kinda sick..
added water.. too watery..
added somemore flour.. tasteless and texture still weird.

give up.
i hav no fate with flour-y things.
i shall not even touch the instant cake mix anymore..
i think i'm jinxed.

sooooo.... i shall stick to meat! =D
